How do you keep your sanity in AJC?
Step1) Enjoy your CCA. ---Hockey is probably the only thing keeping me alive in AJC.
Step2) Laugh at anything possible. ---Ask my gang of friends. We crap about almost anything.
Step3) Play Yu Gi Oh. ---'nuff said. :)
Dun follow these steps, you are probably in danger of becoming like the MC for Teacher's Day celebration in AJC today. Crazy gay bastard.
I don't suffer from insanity. I enjoy every minute of it.
A man who is "of sound mind" is one who keeps the inner madman under lock and key. ~Paul Valéry, Mauvaises pensées et autres, 1942

The King Who Was Humbled
Currently in church, we are discussing and learning more about King David's ultimate sin of his life with the topic as "How To Make Choices You Won't Regret". Thought I share about it here...
For those who are lost, the story goes like this. David, the king of Isreal then, stayed in his palace while his men went out to battle in a war. One fateful evening, David arose from his sleep and chanced upon a beautiful woman bathing, from the roof of his palace. So, he was horny and asked about her. He sent for her and laid together (I don't have to explain this). However, the woman soon found out that she was pregnant. The drama continues and David had to resort to "kill" her husband by sending him to start in an impossible war. After receiving news that he was dead, he married the woman. Btw, the woman's name is Bathsheba, the mother of Solomon.
This is an excellent example of how people make bad choices after bad choices continually. Don't be surprised, we all make mistakes like that too. Ask yourself: What if David had fulfilled his duty by going to war? What if David decided to look away once he chanced upon Bathsheba? etc. Hmmmm...
Ultimately, the lesson learnt here is that if you wanna see a beautiful woman, look out from your roof. Just kidding.
Seriously, the lesson is that we should always think about the consequence first before making choices and decisions. It is the truth for both christians and non-christians. For the christians, always remind yourself, will the consequence of my choice honour God?
I'd made many bad choices in life too in which I regret and will never forget. However, I'll always remind myself to go back to the Lord in dire times for he will never forsake us. Amen. (Not trying to be too holy here)
"2 Samuel 11:2 ---Now when evening came, David arose from his bed and walked around on the roof of the king's house, and from the roof he saw a woman bathing; and the waman was very beautiful in appearance."
I mean, COME ON!!! DON'T JUDGE THAT POOR GUY!! We're all men and I guess evening time is the horny period for us.
