Finally...

Finally... The ordeal is over. I have 1 week of break and I'm not gonna waste it.

One week to being 18.长大了,长毛了。 Time to grow up, no more nonsense like YuGiOh.

Thought of the week:

You need 2 hands to clap. When one show no interest, just give up.

That's life

I visited a special school for CIP last week. Thought it was a great experience for me.

I met this girl who has both speech and movement difficulties and I was assigned to accompany her for an Art and Craft session. They were supposed to create a collage of anything they like. Due to her dissabilities, I had to help her do many things like cutting and pasting of the pictures that she had picked from magazines. While helping out, I noticed that all the picture she chose were of princesses, pretty celebrities, fashionable clothes, etc. It somehow kinda reflect her dreams of growing up just like anyone of us.

It was also heartwarming on how she actually treasures your companionship. She would constantly hand me, Nic and Michelle colour pencils to colour her collage together with her.

I'm a normal person with not much defects. I can at least function properly. However, every moment I'm complaining about life. Maybe it's time for me to be more optimistic. Live life to the fullest.

Finally, the day was spoilt by Lee's wierd and awkward conclusion that seems to be pointing out our mistakes rather than praising us for a job well done which brings me to the next reflection of that day. Sometimes it's better to just shut up. ;)

= =

Haven't been posting for quite a while.

Why?

Because life sucks at the moment.

Just Great...

Guess what? I'd just sprained my back. It's one of the worse injury i've ever attained. Now, what's on my mind is only when will I be able to play hockey again...

Had a relatively fun week. BBQ as a class which I think was one of the best BBQ I'd attended. The flame good (set-up by me) and the food was finally edible! I still go by my principle: Over-cooked is still better than raw.

However, why does the BBQ seemed to be like an episode of "Gossip Girl"? Hmmm...

School was also great.

Received a medal for perfect score in NAPFA. Woots!

Done with WR. Yahoo!

Next Monday is the revelation of our results for the promos. Awesome. Just great...

Hopefully, my pain isn't to repeat J1.

I'm Back

Promos are over. Yay...

Somehow, I don't feel relieved or joyful over the fact that my examinations are over. It just feels like any other day. Maybe this is what life in AJC does to you. Unhappiness has become part of your life, everyday.

One thing that I had learnt from the past few days: Economics and Biology are not meant for each other. Can the school freaking use their brains?!

However...

I'm gonna train hard for hockey. I wanna score during the coming friendly matches!!!

I'm gonna pierce my ear again.

I'm gonna have a fake tattoo on my arm.

I'm gonna be a bad boy.

I'm gonna shop for some new clothes. ONLY ONCE.

Ciao. ;)

Desperados

It isn't cool to be be desperate.

Self-control is a virtue.

The worst thing is that you will never realise you are desperate yourself.

Desperateness is seen everywhere.

Desperateness is affecting almost everyone.

Freaking desperados.

I hope I don't become one myself.

Wise indeed.

Family Guy

I've decided to talk about my Dad as he juz pissed me off.

No...He's nothing like the retard Peter in "Family Guy". He's a dictator, master, tormentor, harbringer, my father.

His stubborness is... how do I put it... Nice. As long as something I say opposes his point of view, he deem it as 'arguing' and starts to torment me for the rest of the day. Or even the week.

My Dad is scary. Fierce. To summarise this point, you just need to know 1 thing. I'm a rather brave and hardy person but nothing beats the fear of my father. My balls just shrink. He's probably the person I fear the most. (Except for God, Lee Kuan Yew, Osama Bin Laden...you get the point)

However, I can understand his behaviour towards me. He had went through too many bad experiences and seen too many people falter in this cruel and sinful world. He just doesn't want me to be like them. But seriously, some of his rules are really ridiculous. Like "You can't go to the movies with your friends...cuz later you get into a gang fight." Screw that! I never obeyed this.

This week: There's a feeling inside me that I can't explain. Through my past experiences, It's better that I don't express it or say it out. Time will tell...I hope.

Sanity

How do you keep your sanity in AJC?

Step1) Enjoy your CCA. ---Hockey is probably the only thing keeping me alive in AJC.

Step2) Laugh at anything possible. ---Ask my gang of friends. We crap about almost anything.

Step3) Play Yu Gi Oh. ---'nuff said. :)

Dun follow these steps, you are probably in danger of becoming like the MC for Teacher's Day celebration in AJC today. Crazy gay bastard.

I don't suffer from insanity. I enjoy every minute of it.

The King Who Was Humbled

Currently in church, we are discussing and learning more about King David's ultimate sin of his life with the topic as "How To Make Choices You Won't Regret". Thought I share about it here...

For those who are lost, the story goes like this. David, the king of Isreal then, stayed in his palace while his men went out to battle in a war. One fateful evening, David arose from his sleep and chanced upon a beautiful woman bathing, from the roof of his palace. So, he was horny and asked about her. He sent for her and laid together (I don't have to explain this). However, the woman soon found out that she was pregnant. The drama continues and David had to resort to "kill" her husband by sending him to start in an impossible war. After receiving news that he was dead, he married the woman. Btw, the woman's name is Bathsheba, the mother of Solomon.

This is an excellent example of how people make bad choices after bad choices continually. Don't be surprised, we all make mistakes like that too. Ask yourself: What if David had fulfilled his duty by going to war? What if David decided to look away once he chanced upon Bathsheba? etc. Hmmmm...

Ultimately, the lesson learnt here is that if you wanna see a beautiful woman, look out from your roof. Just kidding.

Seriously, the lesson is that we should always think about the consequence first before making choices and decisions. It is the truth for both christians and non-christians. For the christians, always remind yourself, will the consequence of my choice honour God?

I'd made many bad choices in life too in which I regret and will never forget. However, I'll always remind myself to go back to the Lord in dire times for he will never forsake us. Amen. (Not trying to be too holy here)

"2 Samuel 11:2 ---Now when evening came, David arose from his bed and walked around on the roof of the king's house, and from the roof he saw a woman bathing; and the waman was very beautiful in appearance."

I mean, COME ON!!! DON'T JUDGE THAT POOR GUY!! We're all men and I guess evening time is the horny period for us.
