That's life

I visited a special school for CIP last week. Thought it was a great experience for me.

I met this girl who has both speech and movement difficulties and I was assigned to accompany her for an Art and Craft session. They were supposed to create a collage of anything they like. Due to her dissabilities, I had to help her do many things like cutting and pasting of the pictures that she had picked from magazines. While helping out, I noticed that all the picture she chose were of princesses, pretty celebrities, fashionable clothes, etc. It somehow kinda reflect her dreams of growing up just like anyone of us.

It was also heartwarming on how she actually treasures your companionship. She would constantly hand me, Nic and Michelle colour pencils to colour her collage together with her.

I'm a normal person with not much defects. I can at least function properly. However, every moment I'm complaining about life. Maybe it's time for me to be more optimistic. Live life to the fullest.

Finally, the day was spoilt by Lee's wierd and awkward conclusion that seems to be pointing out our mistakes rather than praising us for a job well done which brings me to the next reflection of that day. Sometimes it's better to just shut up. ;)

Haven't been posting for quite a while.

Why?

Because life sucks at the moment.
